Dr. Cano is a Board Certified Ophthalmic Surgeon and a Managing Partner of Cano & Manning Eye Center. Dr. Cano completed his Cornea, External Disease, Refractive and Anterior Segment Surgery Fellowship at the University of Melbourne's Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in Melbourne, Australia in 1995.

Dr. Cano is certified to use several Excimer Laser systems. Currently he uses the VISX S4 CustomVue Wavefront Excimer Laser, one of the most technologically advanced systems in the world for treating all types of refractive errors, including nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia) and astigmatism.
