Michael Traub, ND, DHANP, CCH was the 1st naturopathic physician in contemporary times to be appointed to a hospital team - North Hawaii Community Hospital NHCH. He served as chairman of the Integrated Healing Committee from the opening of the hospital in 1996 until 2001, and succeeded in earning approval for the natural medicine formulary in the hospital, including botanical, nutritional and homeopathic medicines.
