They don't know what to do with patients who need covid testing. Last week I was here to get labs done for something, and they had patients waiting in the lab area to be covid tested. Today they have us waiting in the lobby. No consistacny, and it's aggravating.

Outpatient Surgery team is amazing, post op care was also excellent. Thank you to Bob (CRNA) and Rob (RN) especially. Top notch care! The process was seamless and they really show they care about their patients. Thank you Margaret Mary!

I wish I could rate the different departments. The labor and deliver staff here are wonderful and kind. I've had two of my children here and the staff couldn't have been better. However, the ER and minor care staff leave something to be desired. We have had real issues and concerns that were later justified by primary care physicians that were laughed at in this Hospital ER. A nurse here told my extremely sick husband with Covid that she quote "had no sympathy for him" when attempting to place an IV and he was shaking.
This is a horrific way to treat sick, maybe dying patients. I was appalled at the snarky and almost sarcastic way another nurse answered my honest and very concerned questions. It's atrocious. It is worth the extra drive, if you can make it, to Mercy or Cincinnatis to get actual care with people who genuinely are concerned about your well being. There are at least a good few of the Margaret Mary ER staff who have no business being in the medical field.
