Valley View is an independent, nonprofit health system based in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Valley View Hospital was built in 1955 with funds raised by the residents of Glenwood Springs and the surrounding communities. Federal funds dedicated to building rural hospitals matched the funds raised. Since that time, Valley View commitment to the health of our community has been a cornerstone of our organization.What was once a 22,000 square foot, single story hospital with 35-beds is now a thriving regional medical center with a 21-acre medical campus with 78 beds, including an additional 400,000 square feet of advanced hospital and medical offices.

We proudly offered health fairs to the community for 17 years. Moving forward, we believe the best health care starts with a relationship with a primary care provider. A multitude of providers now offer primary care in the community. From Valley View's Internal Medicine and Glenwood Medical Associates to Mountain Family Health Center and Valley View's Roaring Fork Family Practice, strong access to a primary care provider is now available.
