Patients that are new to our practice will have a comprehensive consultation as well as possible additional testing ordered by the doctor. The length of your appointment can vary based on the severity and complexity of your eye condition.

Bay Area Retina Associates billing office staff hopes the information available here will help make your visit with our physicians go smoothly. Patients with HMO insurances are required to have their referrals from their Primary Care Providers prior to their visit. Many insurance carriers require Prior Authorizations for visits, testing and/or procedures.
