About Us
Report
In December of 1985, Reno Diagnostic Centers began operation. This date was significant because, by opening our doors, we also opened the doors to a higher standard of medical imaging technology by introducing the first MRI scanner to Nevada. Since that time, there have been other firsts that we are extremely proud of.
Diagnostic Services
Report
Reno Diagnostic Centers (RDC) has led the way in medical imaging technology in northern Nevada. In 1985, we were the first to bring MRI technology to the state of Nevada. Since then, we have introduced MRI, Positron Emission Tomography (PET), Digital Mammography, 3D Mammography and more. We are continually exploring new innovations in medical imaging to make sure our patients receive superior, top-of-the-line care.
Body Fat Analysis
Report
Reno Diagnostic Centers (RDC) offers the most comprehensive Body Fat Analysis in the area. We use the latest DXA (Dual-energy X-ray Absorptiometry) technology to scan your entire body in less than 10 minutes. This quick, painless, and non-invasive exam is performed in a comfortable, private and confidential setting.
Computed Tomography (CT), also known as CAT (Computed Axial Tomography) scan is a special type of X-ray that produces 2D and/or 3D images of the body. The images produced are similar to what a surgeon would see when performing an operation. Because CT images are more detailed than the images produced by conventional X-rays, there is greater accuracy and ability to detect small abnormalities that might go undetected otherwise. It is fast, efficient, and effective with low risk. CT technology has progressed over the years.
