Cousineau Chiropractic Life Center has been a family practice and a permanent fixture in the Downriver area for over 45 years. The practice was founded in 1975 by Dr. Henry Cousineau. Dr. Cousineau served the Downriver community providing quality chiropractic care from 1975-2014. As a proud former Marine, the practice has always proudly flown one of the largest American flags in the city of Riverview.

At Cousineau Chiropractic, our chiropractors use a number of highly-effective adjusting approaches to help improve spinal biomechanics and reduce nervous system interference. The approach we use is based on our clinical judgment and years of experience. Clinical Biomechanics of Posture is focused on producing improved posture, balance, spinal alignment and restoration of essential spinal curves. After identifying which vertebrae have lost their normal motion or position, a specific manual thrust is applied to free up "stuck" spinal joints.

The DRX9000 provides a program of treatments, approved by the FDA, for relief from pain for those patients suffering with low back pain and neck pain without the pain, recovery time, or cost of surgical intervention. Physician directed care consists of a prescribed treatment period that provides intermittent cycling distraction forces to relieve pressures on structures that may be causing low back and cervical/neck pain. Pain associated with herniated discs, protruding discs, degenerative disc disease, posterior facet syndrome and sciatica will respond.
