Worst place ever. I waited patiently for 8 HOURS and i then gave up and ask the nurse what was the waiting for and she said "we are busy right now, we will get to you when we can"

I was there in Jul 19 to Aug. 7 2018 for rehab of a knee replacement. Never could expect better care from anywhere. Very satisfied. Even the food and food service!

I would not recommend this hospital I was in the hospital for 12 hours with a snake bite. They had to call poison control for how to treat the bite. Could not help me l left and went to somerset hospital and with in 15min they were able to relieve my pain

I had been sick for 3 days throwing up with severe anxiety. I am also a Lupus patient and a patient of Dr. Mayer. I laid for 4 hours in the ER yesterday all because the ER doctor did not want to treat me. All I wanted was Zofran but instead he told me to get out and never come back! A lawsuit is being filed against this doctor and the hospital because the nurses were heartless towards me as well! Guess you're treated like trash if you refuse the kill shots!

They almost killed my mother! She had her gallbladder removed on Monday. Tuesday her stomach was swollen and she was in extreme pain. We called an ambulance for her and she was taken to this hospital. No one was allowed back with her because of Covid. They kept her back there for 5 hours and never even gave her a pillow. They released her and said nothing was wrong, it was normal post-surgery symptoms.
My dad knowing she wouldn't be crying hysterically if something wasnt wrong, immediately took her to Somerset Hospital. After numerous tests the Doctors found that the bile duct (from her gallbladder removal) was open and free flowing bile into her abdominal cavity. This is a surgery complication that can cause DEATH! As of today (Friday) she is still in Lake Cumberland Hospital recovering from the severe infection and TWO surgeries in less than 48 hours. Had we listened to Wayne County ER doctors, SHE WOULD HAVE DIED. I wouldnt take my goldfish to this hospital. They couldnt have cared less.

MY MOTHER RECENTLY REQUIRED AMBULANCE TRANSPORTATION TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM, THEY WORKED REALLY HARD AND I SEEN CONSIDERABLE EFFORT TO SAVE HER, EVERYONE WAS SO COMPASSIONATE AND RESPECTFUL WHEN SHE PASSED, I REALLY APPRECIATED THE WONDERFUL STAFF THAT WAS ON CALL THAT DAY, I MYSELF HAVE ALSO HAD SURGERY HERE IN THE PAST, AND I CAN HONESTLY SAY IT IS A VERY CLEAN AND EFFICIENT ESTABLISHMENT, AS FAR AS THE DOCTORS AND NURSES I BELIEVE THEY ARE TOP NOTCH AND VERY PROFESSIONAL, NOT EVERY PLACE IS PERFECT AND NOT EVERY PLACE HAS PERFECT EMPLOYEES, HOWEVER THERE IS A GREAT ATMOSPHERE AT THE WAYNE COUNTY HOSPITAL THAT I REALLY FIND COMFORTING, WE ARE VERY FORTUNATE TO HAVE SUCH A GREAT HOSPITAL IN OUR COUNTY, SOMETIMES YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE THE BIGGEST TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR COMMUNITY.
