Ambulatory Phlebectomy
Report
Ambulatory Phlebectomy is a procedure used to remove varicose veins that are near the surface. An ambulatory phlebectomy done at re*be uses a series of small incisions over the course of a superficial vein to remove the vein with a tiny hook. The procedure is done in the office and the same local tumescent anesthesia used for the laser ablation procedure is used for the phlebectomy.
Sclerotherapy
Report
Ultrasound Guided sclerotherapy is useful to treat larger branch veins that are not visible to the naked eye. Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy done at re*be uses a soapy foam material called sodium tetradecyl sulfate or polidocanol to close off the diseased vein. This substance is injected into the smaller veins using a needle.
Laser Spider Vein Ablation
Report
Visual sclerotherapy takes care of veins we can see unaided or with the use of a Veinlite. The visual aid of the Veinlite greatly enhances the effectiveness and accuracy of the visual sclerotherapy. Smaller needles are used for visual sclerotherapy sessions. As with the other sclerotherapy techniques done at re*be visual sclerotherapy uses a soapy and sometimes foamed material called sodium tetradecyl sulfate or polidocanol to close off the diseased vein. This substance is injected into the smaller veins using a needle.
