Plantar fasciitis (or heel pain) is commonly traced to an inflammation on the bottom of the foot. Our practice can evaluate arch pain, and may prescribe customized shoe inserts called orthoses to help alleviate the pain. Bunions are misaligned big toe joints that can become swollen and tender, causing the first joint of the big toe to slant outward, and the second joint to angle toward the other toes.
Orthotics refers to any device inserted into a shoe, ranging from felt pads to custom-made shoe inserts that correct an abnormal or irregular, walking pattern.

Ankle Pain
Report
The ankle is a critical structure for everyday mobility and activities. Unfortunately, the ankle is rather delicate, which often puts it at heightened risk for strains, sprains, and other injuries. Since some people simply have weak ankles, it's important that you turn to our podiatrist Dr. Yong Chae at Active Podiatry when ankle pain and other issues impact your everyday activities and routine.
Bunion Surgery
Report
When you're dealing with a bunion, it can be painful and stop you from enjoying certain activities in your day-to-day life. Your podiatrist will work with you to find ways to manage your bunion pain, but when those treatments don't work, it may be time to consider bunion surgery. Bunion surgery is a great way to correct your bunions and improve the aesthetics of your feet. It also minimizes any pain you may experience from your bunions. A bunion is the enlargement of the bone around the base of the big toe joint.
