To estimate the length of your pregnancy, enter the first day of your last period and then press 'calculate'. Once you have confirmed that you are pregnant, the next step is to explore your options. In order to do that, you need to determine the length of the pregnancy. Most physicians make this determination by measuring from the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP).
Before Your Abortion

Have someone drive you to the facility and return to take you home after your appointment. For your convenience, phone counselors are on hand Monday thru Saturday from 8 AM to 3 PM to answer your questions and schedule appointments. A laboratory work-up will be done including blood analysis, RH typing, and urine and/or blood pregnancy test.
Patient Notifications

Important Patient Notifications must be reviewed by all patients prior to date of surgery. In accordance with CFR 416.50(a)(i) and CFR 416.5(a)(ii) all surgical centers must provide each patient with a Patient's Bill of Rights and Notification of Facility Ownership in advance of the date of surgery.

All abortion fees at Pilgrim Medical Center include lab work, counseling, ultrasound, anesthesia, surgery, and all necessary medications. If you have RH negative blood, there is an additional fee for Rhogam. Pilgrim offers a post-operative visit for a fee of $70. This visit includes initiation of birth control samples, and any basic medication that may be needed by the patient. We accept Medicaid and most major insurances upon verification by our insurance department and with valid picture identification.
