Our hospital is a 78-bed, trauma registered, acute care medical facility. We are a locally owned hospital, independently operated and we are committed to providing the best care for our patients. We are the only local hospital with a fully functioning, 2-acre on-site garden with its produce served to patients and staff.

Occupational, physical and speech therapy are provided by licensed professionals when prescribed by a physician and based upon assessed need. A specialized program in a safe, secure environment, caring for individuals with early through late stage dementia. Advocacy for individual needs, guided discussion groups, and referral to community agencies.

We represent the best of what a hospital can offer, which is true caring and community spirit. The Volunteers work tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of people in Humboldt County - whether that means raising funds to provide assistance for a patient in need, giving directions to a hospital visitor, or awarding a scholarship to someone on the hospital staff.You might be surprised at how much we do!
