The absolute best experience you could ask for when needing an oral surgeon. The office staff is so responsive and kind. They make the entire process from scheduling to care during the surgery so easy. Dr. Wallace has the best bedside manner and takes time to answer all the questions and make you feel at ease.

My first oral surgery today. The experience far exceeded my expectations. The staff is very professional, & quickly put my anxiety to rest prior to the procedure (Thank you, Jennifer!). Dr. Wallace again explained the goal, Paige explained the anesthetic prior to administering, & shortly out I went! Dr. Wallace was able to complete the extraction & implant in short order. Significant in that he was not sure he could do the implant till he extracted the tooth and was satisfied structure could hande implant.
While I recovered, the team explained to my wife post-op dietary and med disciplines - again - just to be sure.
This is a very "caring" staff operating with a "team" attitude. The day proceded after departure with no ill effects. And just to top it off, Dr. Wallace reached out to me later that evening to make certain all was good. I ended my day after thanking him and his team for the beautiful "best wishes for speedy recovery" plant delivered to our home from Dr. Wallace and the practice.
No one WANTS to have oral surgery. I wouldn't consider anyone else.

As a general dentist I have been referring patients to Dr Mitch McKnight for several years now. I love how well he treats them and love hearing them return to my office with nothing but nice things to say about him and the entire staff. So of course when I needed an oral surgeon myself, I went to see Dr McKnight. The procedure went perfectly and every single staff member I interacted with was kind and respectful. Tanner was so helpful thought out the pre op and actual procedure. I love knowing that my patients (and myself!) are in such great hands at Dallas Oral Surgery Associates!

Both of my children had very positive experiences having their wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Wallace. He is an excellent doctor with great bedside manner and thoughtful follow up the evening after surgery. His team is very caring and knowledgeable and I felt that my children were in very good hands. Dr.Wallace and his staff were absolutely EXCELLENT. I had my wisdom teeth removed and they were very clear and straightforward from the start about treatments costs scheduling and post surgical timelines and treatments. I had all 4 removed within an hour and was sent home with a pint of ice cream and tons of info on when to take what meds and care instructions. Throughout my week of recovery I suffered no pain whatsoever other than a bit of soreness but compared to other wisdom tooth recover stories Ive heard Ill take that any day. On top of this Dr. Wallace personally reached out after a day or two to check on my recovery and answered any or all questions any time of day even late night and was always just a text away if I had any concerns and was very swift to reply. 10000/10 would recommend him or any of his staff.

As fearful and anxious as I am about dental work I found my experience at Dallas Oral Surgery to be painless and pleasant. Dr. McKnight and his medical team explained the procedure in detail, answering all my questions and concerns which calmed my nerves and anxiety. This place is incredible! I had extractions done on 3/20/26 and the process couldn't have gone better. Dr. McKnight is a kind, compassionate and knowledgeable professional and Tanner (assistant) is the most helpful and and nicest person I've met in a long time. I was referred to Dr Wallace for an implant. I was very nervous about the process but his staff went over the process in detail so I was not worried. The implant went well, I had minor discomfort, didnt need pain pills at all. Every staff member was so helpful and made sure I understood everything. Dr Wallace is pretty funny, which I appreciated. Highly recommend!

Dr Wallace and his associates have been so kind. The girls that helped me through my surgery were the best. I am so appreciative of their kindness and Dr Wallace's patience. Even after surgery, Dr Wallace was on call and was so patient. I ended up home with some cool swag on my shoe and a tub of ice cream! Having my wisdom teeth taken out after the old age of 35, this was the best experience.

Dr. Wallace is world class! As a dentist, I wanted the best for the placement of my implant. I had no pain after the procedure and the healing was uneventful. He is truly an implant expert! The team is also top notch and will ensure your comfort at every step of the process.

I recently had oral surgery with this facility and I am impressed. The oral surgeon, Mitch McKnight, is very professional and caring. When I arrived prior to the surgery, I was extremely anxious and thus my BP was high. He took time to speak with me to figure why I was so anxious, and to reassure me with regard to what I could expect during the surgery. His assurances really helped allay my fears. Dr. McKnight also texted me later that evening to make sure I was alright. Finally, I was thrilled to find Dallas Oral Surgery Associates had sent me flowers compliments of Dr. McKnight (the surgeon) and Dr. Patel (my dentist). I still can't believe it. 10 out 10! I highly recommend Dr. McKnight and this practice.
