Dr. Mirza is a board-certified ophthalmologist who is originally from Cleveland, Ohio, where she attended Case Western Reserve University on a full scholarship, earning a bachelor's degree in Biology and Sociology. She then attended medical school at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, earning a combined M.D and M.P.H. degree, with a specialization in Clinical Investigation.

Dr. Ackerman received his Medical Degree from New York Medical College and completed his residency in ophthalmology at Northwell Health Eye Institute where he served as chief resident. He brings a high level of expertise to the office, having recently completed an ophthalmology fellowship at UTSW Medical Center focusing on cornea, cataracts, external disease, and keratorefractive surgery and is an adjunct clinical professor of ophthalmology.
