Dallas Neurosurgical & Spine (DNS) began in the early 1960s as a merger of two pioneering neurosurgical groups, and was formally established in 1973. Today, DNS is the longest-established private neurosurgical specialty practice group in North Texas with offices in Dallas, Frisco, and Plano. We have seven full-time, board-certified neurosurgeons supported by an experienced, patient-focused staff.

When you schedule an appointment to see one of our neurosurgeons, you will get to see that neurosurgeon - not a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician's Assistant (PA) as is the case with many neurosurgical practices.Of course, we take great pride in knowing that our expertly-trained NPs and PAs are unsurpassed in their field.

Dr. Abbey Ghermay has led Dallas Back Pain Management since its founding in 2005. His experienced leadership has ensured that Dallas Neurosurgical & Spine remains at the forefront of pain-relieving procedures and treatments. Dr. Ghermay understands that pain that goes untreated can affect nearly every aspect of a patient's daily activities, keeping them from the things they enjoy most.
