Robotic Hysterectomy
Robotic hysterectomy removes the uterus using advanced da Vinci Surgical System technology. This approach ensures precision, minimal blood loss, and faster recovery. Patients typically return home the same day and resume normal activities within 2-6 weeks. Ideal for treating fibroids, endometriosis, and heavy menstrual bleeding, this procedure avoids large incisions, reducing pain and scarring while maintaining long-term pelvic health.
Endometriosis Excision
Laparoscopic excision of endometriosis removes abnormal tissue growths causing pain and infertility. Using minimally invasive techniques, surgeons restore pelvic anatomy and alleviate symptoms. Patients experience rapid recovery, with most resuming activities within 2 weeks. This procedure preserves fertility and addresses severe cases, including frozen pelvis, through meticulous nerve-sparing techniques and multispecialty collaboration for complex cases.
Fibroid Removal
Fibroid removal (myomectomy) eliminates symptomatic uterine growths while preserving fertility. Robotic and laparoscopic methods allow precise excision of fibroids up to 7 pounds, with minimal blood loss and same-day discharge. Recovery spans 3-6 weeks, with reduced pelvic pressure and normalized menstrual cycles. This procedure is ideal for women seeking pregnancy or avoiding hysterectomy, offering long-term symptom relief without compromising uterine integrity.
Pelvic Organ Prolapse Repair
Pelvic organ prolapse repair restores displaced pelvic organs using robotic sacrocolpopexy. This minimally invasive procedure reinforces pelvic support with mesh grafts, resolving bulging and pressure symptoms. Patients return to light activities within 2 weeks and full routines in 6 weeks. It effectively treats advanced prolapse, combining durability with low complication rates, and is often combined with hysterectomy for comprehensive pelvic floor reconstruction.
Endometrial Ablation
Endometrial ablation destroys the uterine lining to treat heavy menstrual bleeding. Techniques include cryoablation (freezing) and thermal ablation (heat), performed in-office with minimal recovery. Over 90% of patients experience lighter or absent periods, with effects lasting 3-5 years. This nonsurgical option suits women nearing menopause or avoiding surgery, offering permanent relief without hormones or hysterectomy, though not recommended for future pregnancies.

This review nt even worth a one star tbh. called back in january (I think) & made an appt. after searching a while for a doctor that does a specific type of surgery. SPECIFICALLY ASKED did they take my insurances. I was told YES by the lady they have responsible for answering patients/potential patients questions. Instead of allowing me to specify my exact plan, i was given an answer based on hearing what company it was with. Waited almost 3 months for my appointment only to be told when I got there they didn't take my insurance .
Now i'm back at square one of a situation that could of been avoided MONTHS AGO. So much I wanted to say but i'm humbled myself & left. Also would like to mention that I was never given a courtesy call/email/txt to remind me of my appt, I had to call them to make sure I was still dwn for my visit . That right there just let's me know that this wasn't the place for me & i'll never return even if I do get insurance that's covered by them!

Dr. Mordel was great! Very sweet and informative and gave me a lot of feedback about what I had going on. As for the front desk representative, she seemed very unsatisfied that I did not have my physical insurance card with me. I was never told to have my physical insurance card in hand prior to my visit (I've never had it, I've always used my patient portal copy). She said they could not accept it from my phone. Long story short, it was a lot of back and forth but eventually she just allowed me to email it and I was able to be seen. I've just never had an issue about this before.

Dr Mordel performed a robotic assisted hysterectomy on me. I was worried about the process being complicated because I live in South Ga and was referred to him by my doctor down here. However, his staff was very helpful, the office was easy to find, and Piedmont Hospital was amazing! The nurses I had prepping me for surgery spoke very highly of Dr Model and now that my entire procedure is said and done, I can honestly say that I was pleased all around and agree with them.
I never even hurt where I had surgery; I only pains from where gas settled in my shoulders. Currently I am less than two week post surgery. I am feeling back to my normal self and I was also able to go back to work last week.

Had robotic myomectomy performed by Dr Mordell. Symptoms are much worse after the procedure and Dr. Mordell could not tell me why this is happening. I am regretting this decision.do not recommend.

Dr Nathan Mordel and staff is AWESOME. I was highly recommended to him by another physician that couldn't help me. During my first visit and an overview of my medical records Dr. Mordel did not hesitate to help me. He's my guardian angel and I believe saved my life. I highly recommend Dr. Mordel. Trust him and the process, he's an expert. My pain was minimal and my surgery was very difficult. THANK YOU AGAIN AND AGAIN Dr. Mordel and staff.

Dr. Mordel and his staff are wonderful. Can't say enough good things about them. They walked me though my procedure and it was the most amazing experience. If I could give a million stars on this review I would. I will forever be grateful to him and his staff: Nicole and Freedom. #feelGreat #FeelF'inFantastic. Thank you for everything. Tip what they don't say: on your drive home - go SLOW and/or take back roads. This is a must! Besides that listen to all their recommendations and read the paperwork. It is a lot of reading but everything is there. Lastly: listen to your body and rest!
