Bedford-Stuyvesant Family Health Center (BSFHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that serves all the primary and specialty health care needs of adults and families in the heart of Central Brooklyn. Each year, BSFHC provides more than 57,000 patient care visits to over 15,000 unique patients, who reside in 50 different ZIP codes across the five boroughs of New York City.

BSFHC offers comprehensive Women's Health services to meet your needs including well-visits, prenatal, post-partum, and gynecological care. BSFHC's Obstetrics and Gynecology Department provides patients with the highest quality of primary, sub specialty, and preventive health care. We provide Women's Health prevention and care centered around full routine gynecological care for women of all ages, as well as additional services that include: Annual Physicals; Pregnancy Testing; Ultrasound referral; Sexual Health; Fibroid Care; Menopause; Weight & Nutrition; Prenatal Care; Post-Partum Counseling and Care; Breast Feeding Education and Support, and Family Planning.

Pediatrics

Our pediatricians test your child's hearing, vision, height, and weight. Blood tests check for lead levels, diseases like tuberculosis, anemia, and cholesterol problems. Children grow and change rapidly during the first few years of their lives. Due to such rapid changes, children are at higher risk of growth concerns, anemia, and developmental delays.

The Eye Clinic at BSFHC provides primary eye care. Using state of the art technology, eye care professionals give comprehensive eye exams to diagnose and treat common vision problems and eye diseases, such as glaucoma. Living with diabetes to test for glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy (damage to the retinas).
