We desire all of our patients to be engaged with their provider and healthcare team throughout the course of their treatment at ECET. This section is intended to provide a launchpad for obtaining accurate and clear information about your specific health condition as well as access to other resources that will enhance the delivery and quality of your care.

In order to become a patient of our practice, you must have an established relationship with a primary care provider. If your primary care provider suspects you have a condition which should be assessed by a licensed endocrinologist, then they will refer you to our practice using our patient referral process.

It also provides you with a map to the practice you will be visiting and helps you understand our policies. If you were referred to our practice, you should be receiving our welcome packet in the mail. However, we have also provided them below as a downloadable file (PDF) for your convenience. Once you have been established as a patient, we ask that you kindly update your information on an annual basis to ensure that we can accurately bill your insurance and accommodate any other specific requests.

Endocrinology Consultants accepts the following insurance carriers (see below). This list includes most major insurance companies, but some may not be listed. If you do not find your insurance company listed below in one of the categories, please call the phone number listed on the back of your insurance card or check with the insurance plan you are considering to verify that Endocrinology Consultants of East TN is listed as in-network. We are NOT participating with BCBS Network L, Bright Healthcare, Oscar, AM Better, or UHC Health Plans offered through the Marketplace/Exchange.
