Services
Allergy Testing
Allergy testing identifies specific allergens causing symptoms through skin prick tests, intradermal tests, and patch tests. Our clinic offers comprehensive evaluations for environmental, food, and drug allergies, enabling targeted treatment plans. Results guide immunotherapy and avoidance strategies.
Immunotherapy
Immunotherapy involves regular allergy shots to desensitize the immune system to allergens. This long-term treatment reduces symptoms for conditions like hay fever, asthma, and insect sting allergies. It requires a 3-5 year commitment for lasting relief.
Sublingual Immunotherapy
Sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) treats grass pollen allergies with daily dissolvable tablets. This self-administered therapy reduces symptoms without injections. Its suitable for patients aged 5-65 and requires pre-seasonal use for optimal effectiveness.
Asthma Evaluation
Asthma evaluation includes pulmonary function testing and symptom analysis to diagnose and manage asthma. Our providers create personalized plans combining medication, trigger avoidance, and monitoring to control symptoms and prevent exacerbations.
Food Allergy Testing
Food allergy testing identifies IgE-mediated reactions through skin tests and blood work. We assess common allergens like peanuts, shellfish, and dairy, offering guidance on avoidance and emergency management for confirmed food allergies.

This place is simply the best. I've been with Spokane Allergy And Asthma for over 18 years. Keri Drain is best asthma and allergy doctor period hands down. I recommend Spokane Allergy And Asthma to everyone.

Dr Kerry Drain is a brilliant, compassionate, and highly knowledgeable physician. She thinks outside of the box, which is especially beneficial for people like me, who have a plethora of confusing symptoms. I actually look forward to my appointments because of her amazing bedside manner. It truly feels like I am talking to a friend who truly cares. Due to my health issues, I have had to see many specialists. If there was an award for "#1 Physician", I believe Dr Kerry Drain deserves to be the recipient.

I am still kicking myself over my 18 month old's appointment. I shared my concerns about egg, gluten, and dairy intolerance which I knew would need blood work for as well as mentioning pet dander. Dr. England ordered the skin test for egg and pet dander completely disregarding my other concerns. I had to ask him to put in the order for blood work and when I asked if it was necessary to do the skin test if I was doing blood work anyways he said "I like to do both".

I wish I would of stood up for myself because my son was hysterical only to need to turn around and do blood work also. It was completely unnecessary. I would recommend going to an ENT rather than this clinic.

The shot clinic has gone downhill since the location changed. I don't know why, but it's less efficient with the same amount of nurses (2) than it's ever been and wait times are very inconvenient. I have come when the shot room was full and also when it was half-empty, and still have to wait what seems an unreasonable amount of time either way (one time 25 minutes) to even be called back to start the 30 minute shot process.

You would think with the pandemic the clinic would be motivated to move people in and out more swiftly. If we hadn't had faster service before at the old clinic location, I might not know any better. But I do and it was better previously. I might be less bothered if the clinic hours were more accommodating for work and school hours, but they aren't. Please either speed up your call back process or increase your hours.

People in general are annoyed. I wish we could change clinics-one of my family members goes somewhere else and he is in and out in 30 minutes. What a dream. It's especially hard to spend over an hour here when you're required to be here every 3-10 days.

I called to schedule a new patient appointment, I had called about 5 times over the past 2 days and couldn't get ahold of anyone. I waited patiently and finally got an answer. I called my insurance before I tried to schedule and they let me know per my plan I didn't need a referral to see this clinic. The lady that answered for scheduling was extremely rude. She told me she didn't care what plan I had and that their office needed a referral for me to be seen.

I told her okay and proceeded to get off the phone and she was so annoyed with me and hung up immediately. I have been looking forward to scheduling but I don't think I will even be reaching out again to be seen at this clinic. First impressions are everything and with a front office this rude I don't think this would have been a good experience.
