Mohs Surgery
Mohs micrographic surgery provides precise skin cancer treatment with immediate microscopic examination of tissue. Do you treat pediatric patients?

How can I schedule an appointment?
Call our main office at (317) 516-5000 during business hours or use our online scheduling system for existing patients. New patients can download registration forms from our website.
What payment options are available?
We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Payment is required at time of service unless other arrangements have been made. Insurance billing is available with patient responsibility collected upfront.
Do you offer emergency dermatology care?
For urgent medical needs outside office hours, our phone system provides instructions to reach the on-call physician. Routine prescription refills and lab results are handled during regular business hours.

You might need to wait in waiting room for 30 minutes or so past your scheduled appointment, but Dr. Dawes is obviously worth the wait. Go in knowing this and realize there is a reason he is backed up - he takes time with his patients and has many people waiting to see him. Been going to Dawes for over twenty years. If you want the best go to Dr. Dawes, if you want the speediest, no wait, open appointment times go somewhere else.

I am always treated with respect. In my opinion the people working at Dawes Fretzin are some of the best people I have ever met. Dr. Fretzin worked diligently until he found the right treatment for my psoriasis. I would recommend to anyone who needs a dermatologist to let this staff of doctors help them. Everyone from reception to the doctors are exceptional. Dr. Fretzin is my doctor and to me he is an awesome doctor.
I feel very fortunate he was the doctor who continued to treat me. I started out with the research department and I was never treated any differently than the regular patients. After the trial period ended I became a regular patient at this office. I can not ever say enough about the way the staff went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed to fight my condition.

This was my Daughters 1st visit there & from the time we walked in til meeting with the nurse Michelle & Dr. Oberlin was a great experience. Everyone was so friendly, kind & informative. We were both very pleased & we have found a home for all of our Dermatology needs.
