I can't say enough good things about the PT team at SMOC. They were personable and professional, pushing me when needed and easing up on me when I was having a bad day with my injury. I looked forward to my day there and working on getting back to normal. My mobility has much improved and I have all of the tools to continue my recovery.

Unfortunately I gave one star because there wasn't anything lower. The very first thing their website says is living with pain isn't living. I thought to myself, "Finally someone who gets it!" and made an appointment to hopefully alleviate some of this debilitating chronic pain. I drove an hour for a 10:00 a.m. appointment and waited to be seen by a physician's assistant finally at about 11:30 who claimed my ligament was fine by looking at an x-ray, and told me I had arthritis and to take turmeric pills.
I spoke with him for about a total of 7 to 10 minutes. I had a failed ACL repair years ago and dislocated my knee several times in the last few months. The appointment I eagerly anticipated was yesterday and I woke up with so much pain this morning I couldn't even walk to the kitchen to get my coffee. I'm certainly not going to take turmeric pills and I'm never going back to this office again.

I began my pt with SMOC Chesapeake in March 2022 and I was very doubtful because of my previous pt sessions with various pt organizations and I've been dealing with this chronic lower back pain for 20+ years. Honestly, this is the most progress I've ever made, as far as pain relief, pain decrease, and fewer flare-ups. Thank you all SMOC Chesapeake.
