We are proud to announce that we remain physician-owned and have rejected buyouts which we feel would compromise our family-friendly work environment and our ability to focus on patient care rather than profit for stock holders.

Ruth Adams, Md
Report
Ruth Adams, MD is a board certified dermatologist. She attended the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia for her undergraduate education and graduated from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio with a medical degree. She studied as an intern in Pediatrics at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana and then completed her Dermatology residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.She served as a Fight Surgeon and then as a dermatologist with the United States Air Force for nine years and practiced at Henry Ford Medical Center for two years before joining Carson Dermatology in 1998.

Dr. Max Gratrix joined Carson Dermatology in 2017 after serving fifteen years on active duty in the United States Army. He received his medical degree as an honor graduate from the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, Maryland and completed his internship and dermatology residency at Brooke Army and Wilford Hall Medical Centers in San Antonio, Texas, where he received comprehensive training in medical and surgical dermatology.
