With six years of academic medicine experience at MAHEC, Dr. Lechner brings expertise in minimally invasive surgery and high-risk obstetrics to our practice since 2018.

A 2022 graduate of MAHEC's residency program, Dr. McAden specializes in menopause management and adolescent gynecology, combining modern techniques with compassionate patient education.

Board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Paltzer offers 20+ years of experience including military service and specialized training in sexual health counseling.

Joining in 2024, Dr. Seay brings fresh perspectives to our team while maintaining the same high standards of comprehensive women's healthcare.

We provide comprehensive care including prenatal services, infertility treatment, gynecologic surgery, menopause management, and routine wellness exams.

We participate with most commercial insurers. Patients should verify in-network status directly with their provider as we don't file Medicaid claims.

Routine non-emergent GYN appointments can be scheduled online. Pregnant patients should call our office directly for scheduling.

We combine ACOG's SCOPE Certification with personalized care, offering both advanced medical expertise and a warm, patient-centered environment.

Our office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. Emergency consultations are available during regular business hours.

Patients with urgent issues are prioritized for same-day evaluation. Our staff ensures prompt access to physicians for critical health concerns.

First off, I'd like to say that most the staff seemed wonderful and helpful. My first two visits with Grace were with Dr. Shakar and he was absolutely wonderful to work with. My husband and I loved how excited her got about our baby with us and made the visit a good experience. At our third visit we were with Dr. Pestoff and I came with questions and comments about what I wanted my birth to be like.

She shot down everything I said I wanted and kept saying "it's your first baby you'll change your mind" she acted like just because it's my first baby that I had no idea what I wanted and when I stated I did not want to birth on my back but squatting (since they won't do water births) she told me that birthing on your back is the same as squatting, which is definitely not correct. I immediately changed my OBGYN office and I could not be happier with my new doctors who actually listen and want to make my birth not as stressful.

I was also informed that you don't get to choose which doctor births your baby, is a gamble of who will be on call, and that was a deal breaker for us because I did not feel confident I would be listened to in labor especially by Dr. Pestoff.

I'm SO thankful I switched to Grace for my pregnancy. ALL the staff we have encountered so far have been beyond amazing. The doctors truely care and never me feel silly for asking questions or rushed. I can't recommend them more.

The best OB care in Asheville hands down. I moved to Asheville very nervous about branching out to a new OB, but it turned out to better care than I received before. Anytime I call with concerns or to make an appointment they always take great care of me.

So, no one likes to go to the OBGYN and I mean no one. Especially if you have an issue and dread results. Today was my first time going and I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed by the staff and in particular, Dr. Shaker. He ACTUALLY listened. He didn't dismiss my fears and took an ample amount of time answering any questions that I had and went above and beyond to make me feel safe, heard and all of my concerns put to rest. Before leaving, we had a game plan set in stone. That way, I know exactly what to expect should it come to that. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone.

My wife and I had great news that we were going to have a baby. We heard amazing things about Grace. So we decided to give it a go. Man did we fall in love. All the staff is phenomenal, the Doctors are amazing and treat my wife and I both with amazing respect. I highly recommend this place to everyone!
