We're specialists in pulmonary diseases. Pulmonary specialists are internists who have been trained in internal medicine and subsequently have received additional training in the area of diseases of the respiratory system. Our primary areas of concern are diseases of the lungs and bronchial tubes, but often we must evaluate the heart and upper respiratory tract, including the nose and mouth, as well as chest and body functions.

Critical Care Medicine
Report
Pulmonary medicine deals with diseases of the lungs and bronchial tubes, but may also include the evaluation of the upper respiratory tract, heart and vascular system. The specialists at Texas Pulmonary & Critical Care Consultants use decades of experience and specialized training to evaluate and treat diseases such as emphysema, asthma, or complicated chest infections.
Pulmonary Function Testing

Texas Pulmonary & Critical Care Consultants now provides comprehensive testing to help make more informed decisions. We also utilize the Shape-HF Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing System to assess the source of dyspnea, including potential heart disease, in patients where the source is not clear after routine testing. All tests are performed by highly-trained Respiratory Care Practitioners or Pulmonary Function Technologists.

You are invited to call the office prior to leaving for your appointment to be certain that your physician's schedule has not been delayed.
