Services
First Trimester Screen
Our first trimester screen assesses pregnancy risk for Down syndrome, Trisomy 18, and Trisomy 13 through specialized ultrasound and blood testing between 11-13 weeks. This non-invasive screening combines nuchal translucency measurements with maternal age factors to provide early risk assessment. Our certified sonographers and physicians deliver accurate results within one week, with instant risk assessment options available for faster diagnosis.
Chorionic Villus Sampling
Chorionic villus sampling (CVS) provides definitive chromosomal analysis between 11-14 weeks through placental tissue sampling. Our specialists use ultrasound guidance for transabdominal or transcervical sample collection, delivering preliminary results in 2-3 days with final reports within 10-14 days. This diagnostic test identifies genetic disorders like Tay-Sachs disease and sickle cell anemia, with comprehensive counseling and follow-up care provided.
Amniocentesis
Post-15 week amniocentesis analyzes amniotic fluid for chromosomal abnormalities and neural tube defects like spina bifida. Our physicians perform this diagnostic procedure using high-resolution ultrasound guidance, with preliminary results available in 2-3 days. The test also assesses lung maturity and infectious concerns later in pregnancy, supported by detailed post-procedure care instructions and monitoring.
Genetic Counseling
Our genetic counseling services help patients understand inherited condition risks through family history analysis and carrier screening. Specialists explain testing options for conditions like cystic fibrosis and fragile X syndrome, interpreting results with personalized risk assessments. Counselors support decision-making for prenatal testing and provide resources for managing identified genetic risks during pregnancy.
Ultrasound Imaging
Advanced ultrasound services include viability assessments, anatomy evaluations, and Doppler studies for fetal well-being. Our sonographers perform detailed biophysical profiles, cervical length measurements, and growth assessments using state-of-the-art equipment. The practice offers specialized imaging for multiple gestations and suspected fetal abnormalities, with expert interpretation by maternal-fetal medicine specialists.

Dr. Pinckert is amazing! He has great bedside manner. Very professional, knowledgeable and reassuring. I never had a long wait when i visited him on multiple occasions. The billing company they use was somewhat complicated but the billing staff at the office was absolutely amazing and very accommodating. I had to visit him a few times at the end of my pregnancy and I appreciate everything he did for me. I now have an extremely healthy son.

I came for an ultrasound. This practice charges expectant mothers to take home pictures of their ultrasounds (and they don't tell you that up front). Pretty disgusting that a maternal practice would try to capitalize off of a keepsake for a pregnant mother. Front desk staff was not super welcoming. And if you don't have childcare, I don't recommend scheduling an appt here. They don't allow anyone under the age of 12 (even accompanied by an adult) to attend, so you have to go to the appointment by yourself. Overall, it's just your standard cold, medical prenatal care. No real effort or empathy in their care. However, they were a very punctual office.

I cannot say enough good things about this practice. I lost a baby due to a rare genetic condition and their doctors and genetic counselors provided me with all the resources I needed to get through that devastating experience. They worked with me to help diagnose her rare condition and were always there to listen to me and also to explain the various testing we needed to do. They also monitored my subsequent pregnancy and provided much needed reassurance throughout the whole time. The ultrasound techs were just awesome and didn't mind showing me everything and dealing with my neuroticism. I am so thankful for the care my babies and I received here.

Dr. Pinkert was very kind and patient with all of our questions. He was helpful and informative about our situation. I really appreciated all of the time that he spent with us. The ultrasound technician was very thorough and kind, as well. We were greeted in the front office with a warm reception and had the opportunity to see some of the staff interacting happily with some long-time patients.
