The 1980s proved to be a large growth period for our orthopaedic clinic. Medical needs west of the Ouachita River increased as the population expanded. A new office on McMillan Road in West Monroe was opened in order to provide more convenience and accessibility for patients. Following the addition of the McMillan location, our main office transferred operations to the Physicians and Surgeons Surgical Hospital on Grammont Street. The hospital began providing same-day surgery, which reduced costs to patients.

If you have a serious medical problem and are seen in the emergency room, the hospital emergency room doctors are well-trained and able to perform appropriate initial care. They will make a referral to North Louisiana Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Clinic for follow-up care if you choose a specialist in our practice.
