Compounding is the art and science of preparing personalized medications for patients. Compounded medications are "made from scratch." Thus, individual ingredients are mixed together to provide the exact strength and dosage form required by the patient. At Barney's Specialty Pharmacy, we understand the complications that go along with chronic and complex disease states. Your medication may be expensive, hard to find, difficult to use or cause many side effects. Our specialty pharmacists are available to not only assist you in lowering the cost of your medications through patient assistance programs but also educate you on how to use the medications and what to expect from them.
