Balloon sinuplasty is a surgical treatment for chronic sinusitis, a condition that causes inflamed sinus tissues and repeated fluid buildup. When antibiotics or other medications are ineffective, balloon sinuplasty can provide permanent relief. During surgery, our doctors send a balloon catheter into the sinus passageway and gently inflate it.

Ear infections are commonly the result of a bacterial or viral infection of the eardrum, the ear canal, or the middle ear. The middle ear is the air-filled space behind the eardrums, and infections are often painful because of fluid buildup and inflammation. Ear infections are more common in children (such as swimmer's ear), but can affect adults as well.

The tonsils and the adenoids are soft tissue masses in the throat that produce antibodies. These structures are often affected by strep throat, colds, and other sicknesses. Occasionally, they can become enlarged and obstruct the airway, which can lead to complications. When they become infected frequently, our doctors may recommend tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, the surgical removal of the tonsils and adenoids.
