Services
Vision Exams
Our comprehensive eye exams detect vision issues and eye diseases early. We perform retinal imaging, eye pressure tests, and refraction assessments to ensure accurate prescriptions and identify conditions like glaucoma or diabetic retinopathy. Our optometrists provide pediatric exams starting at age 5 and specialized testing for contact lens fittings. Regular exams help maintain long-term eye health and prevent vision deterioration.
Laser Vision Correction
We offer LASIK and PRK procedures to correct refractive errors and reduce dependence on glasses or contacts. Our surgeons use advanced technology to reshape the cornea, treating nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. The outpatient procedure takes under an hour with recovery within 24-48 hours. We provide pre-operative consultations and post-operative care to ensure optimal visual outcomes and patient safety.
Glaucoma Treatment
Our specialists diagnose and manage glaucoma using state-of-the-art diagnostic tools like ocular coherence tomography and visual field testing. Treatment options include medicated eye drops, laser therapy (SLT/PI), and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). We focus on preserving vision by controlling intraocular pressure and monitoring disease progression through regular follow-ups.
Cataract Surgery
We perform cataract removal with advanced intraocular lens implants like AcrySof ReSTOR and Multifocal Toric lenses. These premium options correct astigmatism and presbyopia, reducing the need for glasses post-surgery. The procedure replaces cloudy natural lenses with artificial ones, restoring clear vision. Our surgeons use modern techniques for faster recovery and improved visual acuity.
Diabetic Eye Disease
We specialize in diabetic retinopathy screening and treatment to prevent vision loss. Our approach includes annual comprehensive exams, laser treatments, and anti-VEGF injections for advanced cases. Early detection through retinal imaging helps manage blood vessel damage caused by diabetes. We collaborate with primary care physicians to ensure coordinated care for patients with diabetes-related eye complications.

Dr Dan Brown should be recognized for his outstanding commitment to excellence. Courtesy, knowledge and going above and beyond with his patients care are some of many traits we should recognize. Minimal pain and comfort, explain thoroughly every step of the surgery he's performing and also the best result. Dr. Brown was my dad's doctor and I just love his treatment compromise to the best. I would highly recommend Dr Brown as the best eye surgeon I have ever met. Thanks a lot

The doctor told me that I must be making up my symptoms, or that my vision problems were "all in my head." Turns out I had Myasthenia Gravis.

I have been going to Northwest Eye Surgeons for nearly 8 years. Dr Whitaker diagnosed my glaucoma and has kept it from progressing with medication and vigilance. If waiting is necessary, I'm fine with it. I've always had to wait at previous eye doctor appointments so this is not unexpected. I won't trust my vision anywhere else.

Lucky I didn't see the reviews before my visit. the wait time was not even above average. I was in the waiting room 3 times during my first visit, and non of them were long enough to let me sit tight.
