Our practice was established in 1996 by board-certified ophthalmologist Kim Burrell. Dr. Burrell grew up on the East coast, but fell in love with Colorado. After completing her doctorate, she and her husband moved across country to settle down and build a life in Colorado. Dr. Burrell practices by developing a partnership with her patients to achieve the best possible treatments and outcomes. We service Douglas, Elbert, Arapahoe, Jefferson and Denver counties and are a referral center for primary care physicians, optometrists and endocrinologists.

Primary Eye Care

Primary eye care includes a comprehensive vision and eye health examination. This examination is designed to detect a wide range of problems affecting vision function such as blurred vision or eye discomfort. Evaluations for eye health disorders are also performed. Both the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Optometric Association recommend that all people should have a comprehensive eye examination every one to two years depending on their particular needs and eye history.At Centennial Eye & Cosmetics Associates, we do an evaluation of spectacle prescriptions and examine eye health from the front to the back of the eye.
