Myopia prevention is a relatively new venture in optometry that works to try and reduce the rate of change or development of high prescriptions in children. A thorough investigation of your child's overall health of the eye and the visual system is important because some childhood vision problems can cause permanent vision loss if left untreated.

When it was first built, our building was the Law Library at the University of Texas in Austin. When they built a larger library, the original building was purchased and moved to its present location by a local church. The church enjoyed it for many years, but eventually they needed more space also.
Meet Our Doctors

Meet our caring and compassionate team committed to providing exceptional eye care for your family. JASON McCAIN, O.D. grew up here in Georgetown, Texas. He served four years in the U.S. Navy as a medic and optician, where his desire to become an optometrist began. After his service, he worked at San Gabriel Eye Center in the Optical Shop while attending the University of Mary Hardin Baylor.
