Griffin Pediatrics began caring for children in our community over 50 years ago. Dr. James Dunaway established the practice in 1962. We are proud to continue a tradition of providing up to date, quality medical care for children. All of our pediatricians are board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and are Fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics.One of our four pediatricians will care for your child when you visit our office. Our mission is to provide a medical home for a community of healthy, happy and well educated children.

Children need time for unstructured play. Organized activities are fine in moderation, but children, especially small children, develop best when they engage in imaginative play and explore on their own. Children should have simple toys, and the toys should be adaptable and versatile. Toys with good play value include blocks, puzzles, crayons, chalk, dolls, cars, trains, trucks and balls.

He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, his medical degree from the University of South Florida and completed his pediatric residency at the University of Florida Shands Hospital. Dr. McBryde joined Griffin Pediatrics in 2001. He and his wife, Tiffany have four children, Lauren, Andrew, Gabriel and Hannah.

Our practice accepts the following insurances. This list is subject to change at any time. We encourage you to verify your insurance with our office staff when making your appointment. If your child is sick during the day, we are ready to help. We begin taking phone calls at 8:30 a.m. A receptionist will answer your call and, in most cases, forward you to our nurses' voice mail.
