Located in Huntington, West Virginia, this three-story, 70,000 square-foot facility is home to the James F. Edwards Adult Cancer Clinic and the Joan C. Edwards Children's Cancer Clinic. The staff of the Medical Oncology Program at the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center is committed to improving the diagnosis and treatment of adult patients with cancer. Medical oncologists, physicians with special training and experience in diagnosis and treatment of a wide spectrum of malignant diseases, plan cancer treatments involving the use of chemotherapy, hormonal agents and/or biological therapy in the management of cancer.

Gynecologic malignancies, or cancers of the female reproductive tract (including the vulva, vagina, cervix, uterus, ovaries and fallopian tubes), are increasing in their importance and incidence.
