Retinal Exams
Comprehensive retinal examinations using advanced diagnostic technology. Our specialists perform detailed assessments of retinal health, detecting conditions like macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. The process includes pupil dilation for complete visualization of the retina and vitreous structures.
Laser Surgery
Targeted laser therapy for retinal conditions including diabetic macular edema and retinal tears. This outpatient procedure uses focused light beams to seal leaking blood vessels or repair retinal damage, preserving vision with minimal recovery time.
Vitrectomy
Minimally invasive surgical procedure to remove vitreous gel and treat severe retinal conditions. Our surgeons use specialized instruments to address complications like vitreous hemorrhage and tractional retinal detachments, often combined with other treatments for optimal outcomes.
Anti-VEGF Injections
Targeted treatment for wet macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. These intraocular injections inhibit abnormal blood vessel growth, administered in-office with precise technique to maximize effectiveness while minimizing patient discomfort.
Clinical Trials
Access to investigational treatments through active participation in national clinical research trials. Patients receive cutting-edge therapies for retinal diseases under strict protocols, contributing to medical advancements while receiving expert monitoring and care.

I cannot overemphasize the the excellent work of Dr. Cameron Javid. He diagnosed my very rare retina problem that no other doctor in Tucson could. He didn't "give up" as three other local retina specialists had. I owe my continued sight to Dr. Javid. The office has an ERG diagnostic machine necessary for a complicated evaluation. I highly recommend Retina Associates and Dr. Cameron Javid.

I was diagnosed with a torn retina that needed to be treated right away. My optometrist found Retina Associates and called them to check if they took my insurance. They told them Blue Cross was fine and they could get me in the next day. Luckily I called to ask for instructions. I was on hold for 1/2 hour only to be told that my appointment was canceled because they didn't take blue cross. I called them back at 4:45 and no answer. If this is the staff they hire I have no faith in the doctors.

Jordan has horrible customer service. Try to call this business for an eye exam- see how they treat you! My heart is still racing after speaking with this customer service reps. If I could give negative reviews I would. I will be scheduling my husband elsewhere.
