Services
Hip Arthroscopy
Hip arthroscopy is a minimally invasive procedure using small incisions and specialized tools to diagnose and treat hip joint issues. Patients benefit from faster recovery, reduced pain, and shorter hospital stays compared to traditional surgery. This technique addresses labral tears, femoroacetabular impingement, and early-stage arthritis.
Knee Replacement
Knee replacement surgery replaces damaged joint surfaces with prosthetic components to relieve pain and restore function. Ideal for severe arthritis or injury, the procedure improves mobility and quality of life. Our surgeons use advanced implant designs and surgical techniques for long-lasting results.
Shoulder Arthroscopy
Shoulder arthroscopy treats rotator cuff tears, labral injuries, and instability through small incisions. This approach reduces recovery time and postoperative discomfort while preserving shoulder mobility. Patients often return to daily activities faster than with open surgery.
Stem Cell Therapy
Stem cell therapy harnesses the body's natural healing properties to repair damaged tissues in joints and tendons. This non-surgical option treats osteoarthritis, tendonitis, and ligament injuries. It offers a promising alternative for patients seeking to avoid surgery and accelerate recovery.
Physical Therapy
Our in-house physical therapy program focuses on restoring mobility, strength, and function after injury or surgery. Therapists collaborate closely with surgeons to tailor exercises to individual recovery goals. Services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education for optimal outcomes.

Dr Mihalich and staff are the Best! I first saw him a year ago for a second opinion on my ankle / foot Tendonitis. He explained to me the facts. He knew exactly why I was having the pain and what needed to be done. He told me I needed surgery. I was in denial at first, afraid of having surgery. He told me to go home and think about it. In less than a week I was making my surgery appointment. It took a while to heel. Dr Mihalich gave me a approx recovery timeline and he was spot on! I am so pleased with Dr Mihalich and his staff and i would highly recommend them to anyone.

My name is Mike Zaccagni and I had Knee replacement surgery over 6 weeks ago. The surgery by Dr Caid went great and the rehab the same. Brain and Brooke were assigned to my workouts and they did a fantastic job getting my knee in shape. The work they put in helped me get full movement in my knee, in only 4 weeks. I just want to thank them, Mike Z.

Dr. Farjo has treated both my sons regarding orthopedic matters and me, for a broken arm! He is not only an excellent physician, but also an excellent communicator - which I find many doctors are lacking in. That is of the utmost importance in your treatment. Dr. Farjo is outstanding - I highly recommend him!

I was prepared for the visit in advance, filled out the paper work at home when, I had time to do it. I was seen at my appointment time, tests were done quickly, and everything was explained very well with time to answer my questions. Treatment was started and a plan of treatment was in place when I left. I would definitely recommend Advanced Orthopedics.

I was referred by Brighton St Joseph emergency department to another orthopedic office in He same building. i went to that doctor and was very disappointed by quality of service. He would not listen and did not look at or touch my injury. I immediately left his office and went to Advanced Orthopedic Specialists. Staff there were professional and very helpful. They found an opening and got me in quickly.
I saw PA Mike Peters who was immediately much more concerned and helpful. He scheduled a CT and follow up at U of M. I was immediately diagnosed with a "Terrible Triad" injury of my left elbow. This is considered a trauma injury that should be treated immediately, If I had not gone across the hall to Advanced Orthopedic Specialists I would be still waiting for treatment as the prognosis for successful treatment was declining. FIRST CHOICE FOR ANR ORTHOPEDIC NEEDS SHOULD BE Advanced Orthopedic Specialists.
