Services
Vision Therapy
Customized vision therapy programs address eye coordination, focusing, and visual processing issues. Using lenses, prisms, and computer-based activities, we treat conditions like convergence insufficiency and improve reading comprehension for children and adults. Our evidence-based approach enhances visual efficiency and academic performance.
Neuro-Optometric Rehab
Specialized rehabilitation for visual disturbances following concussions or neurological events. We employ prism lenses and targeted exercises to restore binocular vision, alleviate double vision, and improve spatial orientation. Treatment focuses on re-establishing neural connections between the eyes and brain for functional recovery.
Orthokeratology
Overnight ortho-k lenses gently reshape the cornea to correct myopia without surgery. This non-invasive treatment provides clear daytime vision for active individuals and slows myopia progression in children. Custom-fitted gas-permeable lenses deliver temporary vision correction with proven safety and efficacy.
Pediatric Eye Exams
Comprehensive evaluations detect developmental vision problems affecting learning and behavior. We diagnose and treat amblyopia, strabismus, and visual processing delays using age-appropriate techniques. Early intervention prevents long-term academic and social challenges through targeted therapeutic interventions.
Learning-Related Vision Care
Specialized assessment and treatment for vision-related learning difficulties. Our programs address tracking issues, visual-motor integration, and perceptual skills to improve reading fluency and classroom performance. We collaborate with educators to create holistic solutions for students struggling with undiagnosed visual impairments.

Questions
What is vision therapy?
Vision therapy is a personalized program using lenses, prisms, and activities to improve visual skills and processing. It treats eye coordination issues, learning-related vision problems, and neurological visual impairments through evidence-based techniques.
Does insurance cover vision therapy?
Coverage varies by provider. We help patients navigate insurance processes, explain benefits, and submit claims. Many PPO plans cover medically necessary vision therapy when documented appropriately by our specialists.
How does orthokeratology work?
Ortho-k lenses reshape the cornea overnight, providing temporary clear vision during the day without glasses or contacts. This non-surgical treatment safely corrects myopia and slows progression in children through customized gas-permeable lenses.
What conditions do you treat?
We specialize in strabismus, amblyopia, convergence insufficiency, visual processing delays, post-concussion vision syndrome, and learning-related vision problems. Our developmental optometry approach addresses both children's academic challenges and adults' neurological visual impairments.
How to schedule an appointment?
Contact us at (201) 794-7977 or through our website. Our staff will coordinate evaluation times and discuss insurance verification. We offer comprehensive consultations to determine if vision therapy suits your specific visual performance needs.

Vision therapy here made substantial improvements in my son's reading. : Also we had our 6 month post therapy follow up when the office reopened after quarantine 2020 and I felt very safe with the precautions taken.

I highly recommend their service when introducing glasses to a young child. They take their time to evaluate and are great with small children. They are patient and kind. The doctors are thorough and the staff is very professional. Ive witnessed toddlers acting out when being on a full prescription or when forced to wear glasses. Their approach is the best way. They are also one of the few practices that specialize in vision therapy. My sister in the 80s practiced vision therapy and help with her lazy eye and it worked. Again, family eye care is one of the best
