FAQs
Report
A pediatrician is a medical doctor who specializes in the care of children. Pediatricians have undergone special training in the health and illnesses of infants, teens and young adults. In fact, we strongly encourage parents-to-be to visit our office for a prenatal appointment. This is a great way to get aquainted with our office and our doctors.
Insurance
Report
We accept a wide variety of insurance plans and as a courtesy we will bill your primary insurance for reimbursement. You are responsible to make any co-pays at the time of service and will be responsible for any deductibles or co-insurances. Our office does not bill secondary insurances. While we are able to answer some questions about insurance, it is in your best interests to call your carrier ahead of time and discuss your coverage and benefits.
Appointments
Report
As a courtesy, our office has an automatic appointment reminder system that will confirm your appointment two days prior to your appointment. You can receive your appointment reminder on your home phone, cell phone, by email or by text message! Please call our office and let us know how you wish to be contacted.
After Hours
Report
For after-hours calls, our office utilizes a phone triage service staffed by qualified pediatric RNs. Call our main office number and you will be prompted to acces the after-hours service. There is a $36.00 fee for this service that cannot be billed to insurance. If it is not an emergency or you feel you do not need to speak with a clinician, you can utilize the "Is Your Child Sick?" symptom checker, which is on the left side of each page on our website. This will help you determine which course of action you should take.
