Some examples of minor procedures include biopsy, removal or adding of stitches on wounds, lacerations, and skin tag removal. Most in-office procedures can be performed in a short amount of time, have reduced risk of infection, and have a much shorter recovery time compared to major surgery.Often referred to as a green card medical exam, these physicals are a necessary part of immigrating to the US to ensure public safety.
