Our highest priority and concern is the safety of our patients, staff, and community and we have made changes in our office to adhere to the ADH and CDC guidelines to enhance that protection. If you have had a cough, fever, shortness of breath, or are not feeling well, we ask that you reschedule your appointment. We also ask for patients only to enter the office unless it is necessary to have a companion with you. We will be spacing appointments to allow for thorough cleaning between patients and will do all that we can to limit your time in the office.

Dr. Michael Semmler graduated from the University of Nebraska with a degree in Biology. Dr. Susan Semmler is a graduate of Texas A&M with a biomedical science degree. Both doctors received their doctorate from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1994. As residents of Hot Springs Village since 1996, they have seen the Village grow and prosper, just as our practice has! Our new facility was completed in 2008, and includes new instrumentation and plenty of space. They have two wonderful boys, Jonathan and Jacob.

Eye examinations, all types of contact lens fittings, eye disease diagnosis and treatment, comanagement of cataract and laser eye surgery, glaucoma testing, ocular photography, all types of eyewear. We utilize digital ocular imaging to help educate patients about their eyes and for following certain eye conditions over the years.
