End-of-Life Palliative and Pastoral Care Services
Founded in 1985, Chalice Of Repose has pioneered the integration of music-thanatology into modern end-of-life care. Our organization combines medieval monastic medicine traditions with contemporary palliative practices to address both physical and spiritual needs during transitional moments. Through clinical referrals, we provide prescriptive music services to patients and families during critical pre-death periods while maintaining rigorous educational programs for clinicians and caregivers. Our work extends beyond direct patient care to include community outreach initiatives, scholarly research publications, and spiritual retreats that promote conscious dying practices.

With over three decades of experience, we've established collaborative relationships with healthcare institutions nationwide to advance contemplative musicianship as a recognized palliative discipline. Our team of certified practitioners delivers personalized care grounded in both clinical expertise and deep spiritual understanding, maintaining strict adherence to ethical standards in all patient interactions.

This service emphasizes mindful presence and responsive musical interpretation to support patients' emotional and spiritual needs during critical care periods.
Educational Programs
Our educational programs train clinicians in music-thanatology practices through comprehensive curricula. Students learn prescriptive music techniques, patient assessment, and spiritual care integration. The program combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience to prepare practitioners for end-of-life care settings in hospitals and hospices nationwide.
Clinical Referrals
Clinical referral services connect healthcare providers with certified music-thanatology practitioners. We coordinate prescriptive music sessions for patients through formal medical referrals, ensuring proper documentation and care integration. Our network supports hospitals and hospices in implementing complementary music therapy programs for end-of-life care.
Community Outreach
Community outreach initiatives promote awareness of music-thanatology through public events and educational materials. I have had mostly good experience and good products from this place- but had today such an awful time trying to get some simple help from a staff member who identified himself as Hunter, really mean, and to enjoy being unhelpful, way too much attitude to be interacting with customers. Really spoiled my interest in the place, not the kind of rotten attitude that I want to encounter, - I hope the management can help give this guy to remove the giant chip he has on his shoulder, or they will likely be losing more than me as a customer.

Buzz Box is literally right down the street, I don't know why anyone would ever choose to go to Chalice. Get with the times, lower your prices! NO options for good cheap flower. And the edibles? Most dispensaries in this city sell a 1000MG bottle of Muleshine THC syrup for around $55. Chalice doesn't carry Mule, but their equivalent bottle of their own brand of THC syrup is being sold for $94! Vote with your dollar, and don't vote for Chalice.
