Co-Founder
Dr. Clinton Levin co-founded Hawthorn Medical Associates in 1970 and practiced internal medicine for 35 years. I have Dr. Etter, but usually see my nurse practitioner of that office and she is so fantastic! Kind, empathetic and caring. Dr. is great too, both kind and professional, staff is nice and down to earth as well. Thanks for the wise advice and great healthcare!

I can not speak on behalf of all providers but Dr. Justin Etter has been nothing less than amazing. I have yet to meet another doctor as great as him. He has been extremely helpful along my medical journey. Very prompt in answering any questions I have. He is very professional but at the same time compassionate and always takes my feelings into deep consideration. Just a very down to earth, realistic doctor. I highly recommend him for anyone looking for a primary care physician. You 100% will not regret it!

I would of give a zero star if they offer that option, absolutely terrible place, my doctor retired so they told me to call arrange a new one, guess what the new doctor first appointment to see me is 9 months later, but they said if you feel ill you can call his office they will squeeze you in, but when I called they told me to go to urgent care, basically he won't see me even if I am dying, went twice to urgent care they can't figure out why I am having fever for 11 days. Called the new patient coordinator to see if I can change the doctor that can see me, a msg comes on saying will call you back within 48 hours, over 60 hours later I am still waiting for their call. Called to complain they connected me to someone with voice mail saying she is on vacation for a week.
They don't care about their patients, no wonder they have only 3 and half star, that's bad for a medical facility, actually it should be less. Don't go there and find a different place that give you respect and care.

My husband and I both have Dr Mathew Costa as a Cardiologist. In 2011, Dr Costa saved my husband's life! After seeing doctors for over 9 years to treat high blood pressure, no one diagnosed him with three blockages. The same week we saw Dr Costa, he was referred to a thoracic surgeon and a triple bypass by week's end. One of his arteries was blocked at 90%, another at 80% and another at 70%. He was able to diagnose in one day what others had not in 9 years. Dr Costa is a caring and thorough physician.
Between my husband and myself, we also have Dr Stephen Keith, Vascular Surgeon, Dr Thomas Vallone, Gastroenterologist, Dr Mark Ventura, Urologist, Dr Ryan Gates, Primary Care, Jamie Cordeiro, NP, Otolaryngologis, Dr Steven Andelman, General Surgery, Rose Zolnierz, PA OBGYN and Dr Edward Klein, Orthopedic Surgeon. We highly recommend them all.

The primary doctor is great! Stay away from physical therapy, they ARE NOT among the best! The psychiatrist department has a great foundation.
