Southern Indiana Community Health Care (SICHC) is a faith-driven, nonprofit, Federally Qualified Community Health Center (FQHC). We are committed to providing a broad spectrum of primary health care and integrated behavioral health to the families and communities of South-central Indiana. Our mission is to provide high-quality, comprehensive, community-sensitive health care utilizing Christ-oriented principles. The teachings and life of Jesus as we know him in the Bible are of utmost importance in our decision-making.

Southern Indiana Community Health Care began in 1974 when a group of physicians and nurse practitioners shared a vision of serving vulnerable, medically underserved, rural communities with comprehensive "all under one roof" health care options. In the early 1970's, the Regenstrief Institute at the Indiana University Department of Medicine was conducting healthcare research and examining a variety of problems facing rural areas in Indiana.

Payment Options

If you are insured, SICHC will bill your insurance company for services and provide you with a billing statement for any fees or deductibles not covered by your insurance plan. Patients who are uninsured are asked to pay for services at the time of their visit. If you need help setting up a payment plan, please make arrangements in advance with our billing department.
