Services
Comprehensive Eye Exams
Our thorough eye exams use advanced technology like corneal topography and Optos imaging to assess vision health, detect diseases like glaucoma, and ensure accurate prescriptions. We prioritize patient education, explaining results in detail to support informed decisions about eyewear or treatments.
Contact Lens Fittings
We specialize in custom fittings for all lens types, including disposable, toric, and scleral lenses. Using corneal topography, we design precise fits for comfort and clarity, particularly for complex cases like keratoconus or dry eyes, ensuring safe and effective long-term use.
Keratoconus Treatment
Our keratoconus management includes rigid gas permeable lenses, scleral lenses, and hybrid options to correct distorted vision. We also offer corneal cross-linking consultations and ongoing monitoring to slow progression, combining expertise with compassionate care for improved quality of life.
Dry Eye Treatment
We address dry eye through artificial tears, prescription therapies like Restasis, and punctal plugs. Our approach identifies root causes, such as environmental factors or medication side effects, to provide lasting relief and prevent corneal damage from chronic dryness.
Emergency Eye Care
Same-day appointments are available for sudden issues like retinal detachment, corneal abrasions, or severe infections. Our team uses advanced diagnostics to quickly address pain, vision loss, or trauma, minimizing risks of permanent damage through prompt, targeted interventions.

I have been impressed with your website and the qualification of your doctors, as well as the state of art equipment I had my appointment with Dr. Stoev. The Doctor is personable, friendly, and very knowledgeable in her field. She took the time and explained all steps of the exam and possible future treatment. The staff could be more helpful in choosing frames. It was more like "self-service". It was ultimately my decision but some advice would be appreciated.

Skowron Eye Care has the best eye doctors in the area. Very nice, friendly, professional and the staff is just as professional. My whole family goes there and we have been for as long as Dr. Mark Skowron opened his practice many years ago. The nice part is that the doctors spend time explaining all of you eye test results and if you have any special conditions they take extra care to address them. If you want a good eye doctor go there you won't be disappointed.

I have been going to Skowron for the last 30 yrs. Always nice selection of frames, script is always correctly input. Never had a problem with fit either. Another one thing I like is, that they center the script to line up with your pupils. Great place, service and such nice staff.

I had my appointment with Dr. Stoev yesterday. The Doctor is personable, friendly, and very knowledgeable in her field. After taking photos of my eyes, she took the time and very patiently explained how eyes work internally and what was going on with my eyes. I am a senior and have never had a more satisfying experience in eye care and health. Highly recommended.

The doctors and staff at Skowron Eye Care were fantastic. It was the first time my daughters and I were there and getting our eyes checked. The doctor was very nice and took the time to explain everything she was doing with us as she was doing it and then explain all of the findings. We felt very well taken care of.
