Services
Forensic Interviews
Our forensic interviews use child-friendly, non-leading techniques tailored to each child's developmental stage. Conducted in a comfortable environment, these sessions allow children to share experiences at their own pace while being observed by trained professionals. Interviews are recorded to preserve critical information for potential legal proceedings, minimizing the need for repeated questioning.
Medical Exams
Child-oriented medical exams focus on comfort and empowerment, with no painful procedures. Our experienced providers address abuse-related concerns while also discussing general health and development. The head-to-toe examination documents any injuries, and children maintain control throughout the process, ensuring a trauma-informed approach to care.
Family Advocacy
Family advocates connect clients with community resources for housing, food, and emotional support. They collaborate with therapy teams to address mental health needs and provide ongoing guidance through post-evaluation processes. This service helps families navigate complex systems while rebuilding stability after abuse.
Child Therapy
Our evidence-based therapies like TF-CBT and EMDR address trauma symptoms while building family resilience. Therapists work within family systems to strengthen attachments and create healing environments. Services include individual and family sessions focused on restoring trust and developing healthy coping mechanisms after abuse.
Prevention Training
Free community trainings cover child abuse recognition, internet safety, and abuse prevention strategies. Programs like Darkness to Light and SafetyNet equip adults with tools to protect children through education and policy implementation. Bilingual (English/Spanish) options ensure accessible learning for diverse community members.
