Medical Dermatology
Our medical dermatology services diagnose and treat chronic skin conditions like acne, psoriasis, eczema, and rosacea. Using advanced treatments such as Xtrac Excimer Laser therapy and personalized medication regimens, our board-certified dermatologists address both common and complex skin disorders. The practice specializes in managing fungal infections, hyperhidrosis, and other dermatological conditions through evidence-based medical approaches.
Mohs Surgery
Specialized Mohs micrographic surgery removes skin cancers with 98-99% success rates. This precise technique combines surgical excision with immediate microscopic analysis to ensure complete tumor removal while preserving healthy tissue. Dr. Michael Jacobson, a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon, performs reconstructive procedures following cancer removal with exceptional cosmetic outcomes.
Botox Injections
FDA-approved Botox injections reduce facial wrinkles by temporarily relaxing muscle activity. Our dermatologists use this popular treatment for frown lines, crow's feet, and forehead wrinkles, with visible results appearing within days and lasting up to four months for a smoother, more youthful appearance.
Laser Hair Removal
Advanced laser technology permanently reduces unwanted body hair through targeted pigment destruction. This non-invasive procedure works on various skin types and body areas, offering long-lasting smooth skin with minimal discomfort and no downtime following a series of treatment sessions.
Chemical Peels
Glycolic acid and other chemical peels improve skin texture by removing damaged outer layers. These treatments reduce fine lines, sun damage, and uneven pigmentation while stimulating collagen production. Multiple sessions produce progressive skin rejuvenation with minimal recovery time compared to surgical alternatives.

Dr. Jacobson was thorough and answered all of my questions. I waited literally 1 min in the waiting room and 1 min in the exam room before the doctor came in.

I don't Have a star to give. I waited 2 months for an appointment that never happened because Don wants to be rude. He talked to me like a peasant and as if i were Uneducated. He tried to tell me about my own insurance i have Had for 12 years and said he was making an educated guess that they don't take it. I said Your assuming i have State insurance and i don't. He wanted to fuss that he isn't assuming. However, without educated yourself on my insurance how can your guess be educated.

He also assumed i could Not afford the 20% if Medicare didn't pay it. It was embarrassing and horrible. Told the front let her see the PA she has state. Medicare is NOT state. I an A veteran and i was Respectful and expect the same. I know He is an office manager but i hope The doctors know he does these things

I think Dr Fortier is excellent. However after waiting over 6 weeks to get an appointment and then waiting over an hour to see Dr Fortier I left. I am assuming the later the appointment the longer the wait. If someone had called me I would have come in later. This is the second time this has hapoened.

Too long of a wait. Called before I left home and they said dr waiting come in. I call from car in parking lot they say come in dr waiting for you. I wait 25 minutes in waiting and over 40 minutes in exam room and still no doctor. Not worth the wait

After many years as loyal customers, we have lost confidence in the service of Longridge Dermatology. Dr. Savits has diagnosed 2 melanomas last week and when trying to contact him for further information following the appointment, we have been unsuccessful in reaching him. Emails and phone messages to the front desk remain unanswered and it is beyond our comprehension how a doctor can be so difficult to reach after casually diagnosing 2 melanomas, simply stating that he may want to graft further tissue. No feedback post biopsy during our last couple of visits leaves us wondering why simple communication and follow-up is so difficult. We have no choice but to look for a new trusted dermatologist.
