Services
Integrative Geriatrics
Our geriatric specialists combine conventional medicine with complementary therapies to address age-related health concerns. We focus on minimizing medication use while enhancing natural healing processes through functional assessments, nutritional counseling, and mind-body techniques. Our team provides comprehensive care for cognitive decline, chronic pain, and preventive wellness tailored to older adults' unique needs.
Functional Medicine
This approach investigates underlying imbalances in biological systems to treat chronic diseases effectively. Through detailed diagnostics and personalized treatment plans, we address issues like hormonal imbalances, gut health, and environmental toxins. Our practitioners use nutritional interventions, supplements, and lifestyle modifications to restore optimal bodily function and prevent disease progression.
Medical Cannabis Consultations
Board-certified physicians provide personalized cannabis treatment plans for chronic conditions. We offer evidence-based guidance on cannabinoid ratios, terpene profiles, and administration methods. Our consultations include dosing recommendations, product selection, and ongoing regimen optimization for conditions like chronic pain, anxiety, and neurological disorders while ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine
Our licensed practitioners use traditional Chinese medicine techniques including acupuncture, herbal remedies, and cupping therapy. These treatments address pain management, stress reduction, and systemic imbalances by restoring qi flow. The service integrates modern medical understanding with centuries-old practices to treat musculoskeletal issues, digestive disorders, and emotional health concerns.
Cognitive Decline Reversal
Based on Dr. Bredesen's ReCODE protocol, this program targets Alzheimer's and dementia through comprehensive metabolic analysis. We implement personalized interventions addressing diet, exercise, sleep optimization, and toxin elimination. The multidisciplinary approach combines functional medicine, genetic testing, and cognitive training to halt and reverse neurodegenerative processes while supporting overall brain health.

Dr Kogan and his team at CWCIM provide invaluable medical advice and treatment. I have EDS, POTS and MCAS and Dr. Kogan not only helped me get back on my feet when no one else could, but he provided me with advice and wisdom that I continue to use every day since I moved out of the area. Just go see them and you won't be disappointed in the outstanding care you receive!

I am thoroughly impressed. From around April-October 2019 I went in every other week, mostly for acupuncture but with other treatments running parallel -- until I no longer needed them, having returned to stable treatment (long story, but traditional medicine failed me for a time via bureaucracy). In one of the toughest battles of my life, the people of this clinic, down to Danelle (I hope I spelled this correctly, if not, sorry) at the front desk have been supportive to an extent that regular clinics weren't as sympathetic. EXPECT THAT EVERYTHING HAS TO BE PAID OUT OF POCKET, including consultations, but they're also uncommonly upfront about the cost and helping you to get discounts where applicable. I always got at least what I paid for in the help that this clinic has given me, in probably the toughest chapter of my life.

These people are INSANE. They don't take insurance and they quoted me $1000 - just for an initial 90 minute consultation! Maybe they are good at what they do, but that is UNREASONABLY expensive. They clearly are only interested in helping the top 1%. SHAMEFUL!

I have been to over 15 doctors for my digestive issues, and Dr. Kogan and his team are the most comprehensive and exceptional group of practitioners I have worked with. I have not felt this well in over a decade. It is a blessing that they are in DC, and easily accessible. I would recommend them to everyone that is SERIOUS about putting in the effort to achieve true wellness. My protocol was not easy, but it has changed my life.

This is a top-notch team of diverse and comprehensive individuals that probably offer the only true real integrated medicine practice within the city limits and one of the few in the area.
