First & foremost, anxiety/panic disorders are very real disorders. Like many who suffer from these disorders, I had tried 'conventional' medicine at my primary care physician's office and even the ER. While I was given meds to combat the symptoms of anxiety & panic, I was never given any rationale for what was the root cause of the problem. Then, I learned about the Anxiety & Depression Clinic in Nashville. Dr. Islam truly understands the root cause of why these disorders occur within the brain's chemistry.

His treatment relies on patients eating and drinking correctly. His numerous studies have identified a diet that is conducive to minimizing the effects of these disorders. He does treat with medications, as well. He does; however, prescribe the minimal dosages that treat the problem(s) in a safe & effective way. People who deal with an anxious brain chemistry have to take care of themselves in a certain way, both through diet & medication. Dr. Islam & his staff truly understand how to help patients overcome these debilitating disorders.

Avoid at all costs if you are in a crisis. Worst experience I've ever had with a "doctor". The staff and doctor were incredibly rude. Overall, terrible experience.
