My patient experience at Virginia Heart is alway excellent, and my recent visit was no exception. I was seen very quickly. The tech was efficient and Dr. Meltzer was informative, had good "bedside manner" and exhibited none of the arrogance sometimes associated with doctors.

Office managers offered me two opportunities since I couldn't get a regular appt. The cancellation list really worked. The doctor was thorough, pleasant, and knowlegable.

I was very well cared for during my visit to VA Heart. I Have been with them for many years with Dr. Bazaz. Very pleasant and excellent Doctor. I now have a need for a EP specialist for Afib. And have just had a procedure done by Dr. Fein. He is very talented and certainly knows the electrical paths of the heart.

Easy check-in; appointment began as scheduled; professional staff did health review and performed EKG. Doctor Shor arrived and we had a good review of my status. Never felt rushed. Exam went as I thought it would. Overall, an excellent session with superb staff.

Got charged with a huge fee for just one visit. Charged a fee for a new patient first visit which is triple the actual medical service I used there. They should let patients know upfront about such hidden fee which is not covered by the insurance. Very disappointed with this. Would have not used this if I knew it before. Paying a huge amount for not getting anything out of it doesn't make any sense.

Over the last 3 days, I have spent a cummulative 1 hour and 36 minutes on hold for the appointment person. Twice, I took them up on their offer to save my place in line and call me. No call! Mysteriously, after waiting for a great deal of time, one gets a recording stating that the waiting time is longer than it was at the beginning of the hold. Today, after finally reaching the appointment person, I was informed that I would have to speak with the nurse. After 65 minutes of waiting for the nurse, I hung up. I love Dr. Duc, but I don't think I can deal with this kind of disrespect from a medical clinic.
