Founded by Community Action in 1991, the Center for Healthy Beginnings began 30 years ago as a small prenatal clinic, caring for pregnant women and delivering babies. In 1994, the Center changed its name to the Center for Family Health (CFH), adding primary medical services and serving individuals in Jackson County and the surrounding areas.

MyChart is an online electronic medical record system. It is available 24/7, is private and secure, and enables all your doctors to access your complete medical information easy to coordinate your care. You can enroll for MyChart at the Center or call the Center's health-information office to get your medical record number.

With six locations in Jackson County, the Center has a diverse team of employees - all united in their dedication to provide comprehensive, quality health care to more than 30,000 patients a year. Our salaries are competitive for each job category, and we rise to the challenge of creating work-life balance. After one year of service, the Center will match up to 3 percent of your salary that you contribute to the plan.

The Center for Family Health operates several locations in Jackson County to serve the primary medical and dental needs of patients of all ages. Patients at any facility can access services at the Downtown Facility. Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance are accepted at all locations; no one is turned away because of inability to pay.
