I have been a patient @ NYSI for some time now. I have Never had anything but Excellent service and treatment from a Very Knowledgable and Very Caring Staff. The Physicians, the Imaging Department, Receptionists, even the Security Officer who actually opens the door for you.! Everyone goes above and beyond to make the visit as pleasant as it can be. I Recommend NYSI to Everyone who finds themselves in need of their services and Specialists.
Especially Dr. Post, Pierre LeGrange, Surgical Coordinator, Dr. Ventrudo, and Michael Tubbs, PA. I don't know where I'd be had I made any other choice but New York Spine Institute who has Specialist in every area of Orthopedic and Spinal Care.

The front desk can use some work, but Dr DeMoura is amazing. He truly cares about his patients. I never once felt unsure when I was with him. He answers all your questions never rushes you and tells you step by step about your procedure. The rest of the practice can use some work. I brought in disability papers 13 days ago and still have not received them back. They say 7 to 10 days but beware they don't get back to you when you leave messages, and they have attitudes when asked about them.

This place is amazing! Entire Physical therapy staff is phenomenal, mike has made a huge difference in my rom, Adls, and strength. his care plans are geered to the individual and is always making changes to keep us progressing. Dr. Akhnoukh in pain management is a miracle worker!what a wonderful bedside manner and he does everything To help his patients! Dr. Akhnoukhs ENTIRE team is THE BEST. Dr. Guttman the orthopedic surgeon is amazing! Dr. Passias and Alexa in orthopedic spine dept are wonderful! Johnathon Villarreal who works with dr. Gutman is absolutely great! I always recommend this facility it changed my life. They care and strive to make a difference for the patient every day! No place compares. Best decision I ever made was coming here!

Unpleasant place, they are obsessed with who has on a mask, to stop a supposedly DEADLY PANDEMIC and not concerned with scheduling a 1,000 patients to see 1 doctor on 1 day, while all the while each patient has to wait 2 to 3 hours to see the Doctor. The front desk staff attitudes are HORRIBLE. They need to hire ALL new front desk staff and train them thoroughly on customer service. People are coming in already experiencing pain and don't need a lot of lip service, nasty comments, snide remarks nor sarcasm and extremely long waits to see the Dr. Perhaps no one has told the front desk staff that without patients they have no jobs.

The group has a website advertising comprehensive care at many locations. Yet, when I attempt to set an office visit with a view to a commonplace epidural, I am told (a) the next available office visit is at the end of the month and (b) the procedure, though commonplace, is only done at one office far from me. In other words, the advertising notwithstanding, the group offers me no solution and leaves me in pain.
